Burdett School students are loving their swimming lessons while building important life skills. Learning to swim helps students develop water safety awareness, confidence, physical fitness, and skills that can last a lifetime. Today, our Grade 7 students enjoyed a fun-filled day in Bow Island. The morning featured refreshing swimming lessons at the Bow Island Pool, followed by an afternoon at Bow Island Golf Club where students learned golf etiquette, basic rules of the game, and had the opportunity to develop their golf skills through hands-on instruction from Brendan Smith and Ms. Smith. A special thank you to Bow Island Golf Club Manager, Brendan Smith, and Ms. Smith for providing an excellent introduction to the game of golf and helping make the day both educational and enjoyable for our students!
